“The New Renaissance” – Art Meets Blockchain

The Art for Sustainable Economic Growth exhibit is for artists and innovators –

This show is for artwork that has not already been minted into an NFT. Send your digital image and it will be minted into an NFT on one of our sponsor platforms.

And for those artists already minted on one of our sponsor’s platforms- we welcome NFT submissions from Everscale, and the other platforms that are TBD.

This show will allow artists who are just learning about NFTs to enter the field. The cost for minting will be covered by GBA. The details of the individual contract will be approved by the artist before minting.

All attendees to BC & Sustainable Economic Growth will be able to vote for the winners of the show on a mobile voting app. All art pieces that have been converted into NFTs will be available for bidding throughout the conference. The number of viewers along with public availability to buy and sell could cause some of the NFTs to increase in value.

This art show will also have a physical component. Artists who are local to Washington DC, or who can drop off their artwork at the Mayflower Hotel on Tuesday, May 24, from 4 PM to 7 PM, and pick up their unsold pieces on Saturday, May 28, between 10 AM and 12 NOON are welcome to enter those pieces in the show. Images of the physical pieces will be minted into NFTs.

All artwork must be available for sale.

All digital images that make the show will be minted on one of our partner platforms that are working with the GBA to produce this show.

The cost of minting will be covered by GBA, and the details of the NFT contract will be emailed to the artist for approval before the piece is minted.

Depending on the platform, artists will receive a percentage of the sale and any resale of the NFT. The artist will agree on the initial price at the time of minting.

Specific details on each piece will be communicated to the artist BEFORE their artwork is minted.
